It is undoubtedly so as the 15 years she has spent in music tell her tale of success and determination. Cindy Sanyu is at the top of the pyramid when it comes to lyrical prowess as she pens her own music and also her delivery of this music tells a lot about her talent.

One would think that Cindy Sanyu always listens to music with the way she loves music, most especially Ugandan music but this is not the case. When it comes to music, Cindy actually came out to confess during an interview that she never even listens to music at home, be it international or Ugandan music.

You see, many people have always wondered how a successful musician like Cindy Sanyu manages to balance her music career as well as her marriage and raising her kids and it seems like the secret lies in not listening to music while at home!

Well, according to Cindy Sanyu,  she never actually listens to any music, be it Ugandan music or international music, while at home with her hubby and children. Cindy Sanyu always prioritizes her family and therefore family time means exactly that to her so she never tries to do anything else when she is home aside from give her hubby and children her time.

According to the female musician, before she got pregnant, she was always out hustling and she was always up and down, too busy even for herself but after she turned into a mother, she cut down on her music and changed her entire schedule in order to be able to spend enough time with her family so every time she is home, her focus is on her family always.

Cindy Sanyu gave a simple reason  as to why she keeps music away from her home, saying that she is a rather competitive musician and when she listens to music, her competitive mode gets turned on and it gets hard to suppress it so she does not want to bring music into her family time because she could really get distracted from it.

    Cindy

“There is one thing people will not believe about me, but I will say it regardless. I don’t listen to music while at home. My children need my time, and to avoid distractions from the music industry, I don’t want anything to do with music while am home,” she confessed.
