There was drama this week on Monday evening when a random spectator blocked the only camera that was relaying live pictures of the Uganda Vs Mali game live from the St. Mary's Stadium in Kitende.
The yet to be identified man stood adamantly infront of the camera with his bold head occupying almost the whole screen for those that were watching the game on TV.
The camera crew tried to tell him to shift his head but he stubbornly refused to step aside insisting that he had to watch the game live while standing.
MUJJOOGA ?
But he later accepted the requests of the camera men and finally saved us from a still picture of his clean shinny bold head and all this happened in the first 3 minutes of the game so we didn't lose so much time after all.
Uganda Vs Mali, how did the game end
The tough game for Uganda ended 0-0 meaning no one won or lost the game hence a point was secured for both sides.
Uganda which was disadvantaged by a red card obtained by Jjuuko managed to hold a fierce Mali side to a humble draw and the result was much appreciated by coach, Micho who said it was much better than losing since his side (Uganda) was already 1 man down.
This game was part of the group stage games for Uganda in a bid to fight for a place at the 2022 Qatar Fifa World Cup. The teams in Uganda's group E apart from Mali are not hard ones.
They include, Kenya and Rwanda who are both neighbours to Uganda so we can easily sort out our differences with them although Kenya has already shown us fire by drawing with us two weeks ago at the Nyayo Stadium in Kenya.
The next game for Uganda is against Rwanda and will be played in Kigali which is currently not in good terms with Kampala but regardless, the Rwandese must be beaten!
To pass through to the next stage, Uganda must by all means unseat Mali who are currently leading the table with 4 points clear otherwise it will be game over for anyone dreaming of Uganda's presence in next year's World Cup.
