Whereas everyone else abandoned him, Eddy Kenzo says President Museveni was there for him hence he would never attack him in any way as he considers him his savior

Many musicians within the music industry have been criticized for deciding to stay neutral when it comes to politics but yet even they have heir own reasons for not wanting to get involved in the topic. For some, they are just afraid of backlash from public and their fans at large whereas for others, it is simply because they would rather not get involved on politics as it seems a little bit of a complicated topic for them.

Eddy Kenzo, who has not been on very friendly terms with musician turned Politician Bobi Wine for a while now has finally come out and given his reasons as to why he has not been in position to criticize the current President of Uganda His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

During an interview on television, Kenzo stated that he would be a hypocrite if he ever woke up and chose to attack President Museveni as they share a very close and personal friendship, something he had never told the public about. Musician Eddy Kenzo has explained this close relationship with President Museveni, stating that the two are even personal friends.

Kenzo further went on and explained that he would never criticize President Museveni because this same gentleman  played a very important part in rescuing him from Ivory Coast when everyone else turned a blind eye to him and denied him a hand when he needed it the most.

Kenzo narrated that he as stuck with a few other Ugandans in Ivory Coast during the Covid 19 pandemic and life there was completely hard on him. Having reached out to many other people trying to seek for help, he got none but when he turned to President Museveni, he immediately sent a plane to rescue them and bring them back home.

    Kenzo

"I can never speak ill of President Museveni because he is my personal friend. He rescued me and other Ugandans during the COVID-19 crisis. The truth is, we were stranded. We called various other people to help us out of that situation but no one even bothered but he sent a plane to pick us from there," Kenzo explained.

We all recall however that immediately after his return from Ivory Coast, he went into a meeting with the President of Uganda, being that he was his savior and this is when his beef with Bobi Wine started. Kenzo stated that Bobi Wine neglected him at that crucial time as he was one of the first people he reached out to when he was stuck in Ivory Coast but Bobi Wine allegedly ignored him, leaving him with a heavy heart.
