Eddy Kenzo is the President of Uganda National Musicians Federation. He is also the big boss of big talent music group.

The singer has shared his belief with international artists and collaboration.

Eddy Kenzo  revealed he will never plead for a collaboration from an international artist.

The singer explained he is a big star himself and working with an international artist would be a great deal but he will not beg. He will only work if the two are willing to do so.

"When an opportunity of working with an International Artist comes, I’ll take it up only if they are also ready, if it involves pleading, I’m not up to it, I’m Eddy Kenzo, I’m a big star." he said.

Eddy Kenzo also revealed Davido is his biggest inspiration because he chose to create his own life away from father's wealth.

"I have a lot of people that inspire me but for now I will talk about Davido, he is a son of a rich man but he left all that and worked for himself." he said.

Eddy Kenzo also spoke about his relationship with Rema Namakula and why he never showed face at her recent collaboration even after receiving the invitation.

Kenzo says he didn't attend the concert because he never wanted to take away the attention from Rema's performance.

He explained all the cameras would have focused on him instead of looking at Rema the Queen of the day.

"I didn't go there because I never wanted to struggle for attention and take it away from Rema. Cameras and news would have focused on me instead of highlighting Rema's performance and everything." he partly said in an interview with Galaxy TV.

It should be noted Rema had earlier invited Eddy Kenzo to the concert.

"Everyone is welcome including Kenzo and Bebe Cool." she said during her first press conference for the concert.

Eddy Kenzo also spoke about Bobi Wine and said he has no problem with the NUP President politically.

He only has issues with him.in regards to the music.

"I don’t have any issue with Bobi Wine’s politics, but when he comes to the music side, whatever he says he needs to live by example. I can never say anything when he comments about politics but when he says anything about music, I’m supposed to talk about it because it’s my job." Kenzo revealed emphasizing that he will always come out to defend his job whenever Bobi Wine speaks about it.

It should be noted Kenzo received international attention after the release of his 2014 single, "Sitya Loss" and an accompanying viral video that featured the Ghetto Kids.

Kenzo has also won numerous national and international awards, including a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award in 2018, a BET Award in 2015, and multiple All Africa Music Awards.

In 2022, Kenzo was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Global Performance, for Gimme Love, (Matt B featuring Kenzo).

Kenzo was the first Ugandan artiste to win the BET Award in 2015 and the first Ugandan artist to be nominated for a Grammy award.
