The singer explained he is a big star himself and working with an international artist would be a great deal but he will not beg. He will only work if the two are willing to do so.
"When an opportunity of working with an International Artist comes, I’ll take it up only if they are also ready, if it involves pleading, I’m not up to it, I’m Eddy Kenzo, I’m a big star." he said.
Eddy Kenzo also revealed Davido is his biggest inspiration because he chose to create his own life away from father's wealth.

Eddy Kenzo also spoke about his relationship with Rema Namakula and why he never showed face at her recent collaboration even after receiving the invitation.
Kenzo says he didn't attend the concert because he never wanted to take away the attention from Rema's performance.
He explained all the cameras would have focused on him instead of looking at Rema the Queen of the day.
"I didn't go there because I never wanted to struggle for attention and take it away from Rema. Cameras and news would have focused on me instead of highlighting Rema's performance and everything." he partly said in an interview with Galaxy TV.
It should be noted Rema had earlier invited Eddy Kenzo to the concert.
