17 out of 35 National Unity Platform supporters were today granted bail in the army court in Makindye. These and many others were arrested last year in Kalangala with Kyagulanyi, with allegations that they were in possession of ammunition.
Gen Guti, who presided over the hearing, cautioned the 17 not to move past Kampala and Wakiso areas. Each of these was granted bail after agreeing to pay 20m.
Unfortunately, 18 of these were sent back to jail till the 8th of June, and these include Eddy Mutwe and Nubian Li.
