Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women Football have managed a stunning comeback over Kawempe Muslim Ladies Fc in classic fashion to finish third.
Kawempe Muslim opened the account in the 21st minutes a goal scored by Allen Nasaazi.
Kawempe continued to posses the game but Martyrs handled them careful and half time ended in favor of Kawempe.
With the kick off second half, Kawempe started in high gear looking for a second goal however Martyrs looked organized.
Nkugwa Roger made double substitutes introducing Nakacwa Spencer and Shamusa Najjuma to replace Esther Naluyimba and Nakanjako Immaculate in hunt for equalizer.
Later the tactician introduced Brenda Munyana to replace Nalumu Sumayah.
In the 61st minutes, Shamusa Najjuma well controlled the ball in the box to beat Adeke Juliet and square the game.
After scoring the equalizer, Martyrs started to dominate the game looking for a winning goal.
In the 81st minutes, Anitah Namata found Shamusa Najjuma who calmly controlled the ball and passed the ball to Nakacwa Spencer and dribbled past two defenders and shot to the far left post to put the ball into the back of the net.
Two super substitutes, Nakacwa Spencer and Shamusa Najjuma goals overturned the results over Kawempe Muslim Ladies Fc to help their team finish third.
The Nkugwa Coached side have won two games against Kawempe this season 1:0 in the group stages and 2:1 in the third playoff game.
