Former Next Media TV host Sheilah Gashumba has finally come out and opened up on why she ditched the NBS After5 show job. For a while now, netizens have been wondering why Sheila Gashumba opted to leave NBS TV and go for a radio presenting gig at NRG Radio.

Pictures of Sheila brightly smiling for the camera while in the studios of NRG Radio are the only piece of evidence that could convince her fans and followers that she was indeed ditching TV for Radio. Well, many did not understand her reasons for wanting to leave. In fact, many speculated that Sheila had been thrown out of NVS TV.

It was revealed later however that Sheilah, who was co-hosting the After5 entertainment show alongside MC Kats, DVJ Mercy Pro, and Douglas Lwanga, formally handed in her resignation from her duties at the station in February 2023.

Sheilah’s unpredicted departure from NBS left many of her fans perplexed, wondering what compelled her to make such a decision. Days later, Sheilah signed a hot contract with NRG Uganda and commenced hosting the Total Access Show every Friday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Sheilah has however come out and clarified the circumstances surrounding her decision to stop TV presenting when addressing a fan who claimed she was missing her on NBS After5.
The Influencer and  CEO acknowledged that she currently has so many jobs, and travels so often hence daily TV appearances would make it next to impossible to fulfill some of her other  commitments.

Sheilah, however, maintained that despite resigning from the show, the NBS After5 cast will forever be her family.

“I am extremely  busy to be on TV everyday darling but I will be back on TV  soon but not on a daily show. I have so many jobs and businesses plus I travel a lot. Things have to fit in my schedule.” She said
