    Sheilah Gashumba started her journey as a radio presenter at NRG radio on February 10, 2023. The self styled lil stunner hosts the show dubbed total access that air every Friday evening from 7pm -10pm.

    Renowned city socialite, talent manager and media personality Sheilah Gashumba is in a celebratory mood after being appointed chief executive officer of  NRG radio, Uganda.

    Established nearly two years ago, NRG radio is one of newest and fast growing radio stations in Kampala, Uganda. The station that rocks  the airwaves at 106. 5 produces content targeting mainly the urban youths.

    Important to note is that Sheilah Gashumba started her journey as a radio presenter at NRG radio on February 10, 2023. The self styled lil stunner hosts the show dubbed total access that air every Friday evening from 7pm -10pm.She does the show alongside Zamn Zion and Ugandan DJ VX Faisal.

    After a year of dedicated services, Sheila Gashumba has been promoted from the position of a mere radio show host to being the new CEO of the station.

    The announcement was first made by NRG Radio through their various social media pages on Monday morning, April 1.

    "Welcome, our NEW NRG CEO @SheilahGashumba ????Expect EVERYTHING & ANYTHING!! the FUTURE is Sheeeeeeeeee ??," NRG posted on X formerly known as Twitter.

     

    The 28-year-old also went on share the exciting news with her fans, followers, and well- wishers who wished her success in her new role.

    What you need to know about Sheila Gashumba's media journey.

    It should be noted that Gashumba started presenting a teen`s club show on WBS TV in 2007.

    In 2009, Sheilah Gashumba garnered another milestone as the youngest journalist to cover the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which was presided over by The Queen of England, in Kampala, Uganda. 

    During this momentous period, she stringed for Daily Monitor, Uganda’s most widely read and respected independent newspaper, in the CHOGM Teens column.

    Sheilah later joined NTV where she presented T-Nation and later NTV The Beat with Douglas Lwanga.

    Reports have it that in November 2021, she joined NBS Television where she hosted NBS After5, an entertainment show which airs from Monday to Friday from 5:00pm up to 7:00pm with MC Kats, Douglas Lwanga, DJ Mercy Pro and DJ Roja from the duo Slick Stuart & Dj Roja."

    All in all, Nowviba joins the rest of Ugandans in wishing Sheilah the best of luck in her new job.
