Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine that has been going on for a number of days now, Ugandan Land Forces commander Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has come out and shown his side saying Russia is absolutely right to attack Ukraine. "The majority of mankind ( that are non-white ) support Russia’s stand in Ukraine. Putin is absolutely right! When the USSR parked nuclear armed missiles in Cuba in 1962 the west was ready to blow up the world over it. Now when NATO does the same, what do they expect Russia to do?” Muhoozi expressed his support for Putin and Russia.
Muhoozi’s reasoning doesn’t differ much from that of Russian Apologists and sympathizers who drew back to when USSR put missiles in Cuba during the Cold War era and the West was ready to go with the Soviet Union. At the time, Russia agreed to withdraw their missiles in order to de-escalate the situation. The west and the big monetary organizations feel that crippling Russia’s economy will somehow bring Putin to his knees and give in. Although a number of sanctions and condemnations have been put onto Russia, Putin seems not yet ready to bow to anyone’s pressure as he continues to make advances inside Ukraine.
The situation remains tense for now as Ukraine hasn’t yet consented to talks with Russia!
