Today morning at around Kitosi, Kisasi road, General Wamala Katumba was shot at by unknown assailants.
These two men were travelling on a boda boda and opened fire immediately the car of the General left the gate.
The General was moving with his daughter Brenda Nantongo to go attend the burial of his mother in law
Brenda and the driver died on spot since the bullets were shot on the right hand side of the car where they were both sitting.
General Wamala Katumba and his bodyguard seemed not to have serious injuries.
In a sad video moving around on social media, General Wamala seems to be in shock and crying over the death of his beloved daughter.
He has been taken to the hospital for further treatment and the crime scene is surrounded by the police.
An investigation has been opened and CCTV cameras are going to be checked so as to look for the culprits.
