Gereson Wabuyi alias Gravitty Omutujju has been in the spotlight for a while now after he came out to talk about how happy he was that the Gwanga Mujje concert of Dr. Jose Chameleone flopped when the stage fell in. However much he refused to bow to pressure and apologize, it seems like Jose Chameleone die hards are willing to go an extra mile just to see him apologize.
Last week, a video showing the local rapper punching a fan off stage caused an uproar amongst netizens. In the video that went viral online, Gravity is seen singing for his fans at an unidentified hangout spot before a reveler jumps on stage. As Gravity tries to walk away supposedly avoiding the fan, he follows him around the stage with his sleeves folded and his arm slightly raised.
At this point, it seems like Gravity has had enough of this and it doesn’t take long before the rapper stretches out his left hand and punches the fan right in his face and continues with his performance as if nothing happened. Well, the performance did end well and everything went on smoothly but this was only before netizens go ahold of the video clip.
Upon being shared online, the video has caused talk with netizens questioning its timing and the rapper’s violent ways. A couple of critics claim the video is from way back and it was only brought back to life after Gravity’s comments towards Chameleone’s failed ‘Gwanga Mujje’ concert. His fans believe this video has been brought up by the Jose Chameleone die hards so as to paint a bad image of Gravity.
Others, however, believe it is recent and portrays what a violent character the rapper is to a point that he left a fan on the ground with a heavy weight punch. They believe that if it was about self defense he would have done it another way rather than resorting to violence.
