Isma's driver, Mathias Waswa has narrated how the whole unfortunate ordeal happened. According to Wisdom Kaye who spoke to him, Isma's driver rushed out and fell to the ground on the side of the the drone car, him and Isma were travelling in as soon as he realised the car was being shot at.
The killers who were specifically targeting Isma, shattered the car's windows in order to spray more bullets to ensure that he was dead. The driver who according to reports was unscathed further said that as soon as the shots stopped, he stood up to check on Isma only to realise that one of the killers was checking to see if Isma was really dead.

Isma also known as Jjaja Ichuli was shot just outside his home in Kyanja and It is not yet clear what the motive of the killers was but it is rumoured that it could have been as a result of one of his recent video clips that showed him condoning the actions of the late minister Engola's body guard who murdered his boss a few days ago.
Several celebrities have mourned him including Bruno K, Eddy Kenzo, Frank Gashumba and others. Eddy Ssendi in particular said that Isma is the most successful blogger to ever come from abroad and make it from Uganda. Doreen Kabarebe also a tight friend of the late said the news of his demise was very depressing and she is in shock that some people are celebrating his death such as Tuff B who put up a tweet reading, "you reap what you sow"
The Uganda Police also released a statement about Isma and it reads;
Shooting Incident in Kyanja Central Zone
The Territorial Police at Kira Road is actively investigating a tragic shooting incident that occurred today at approximately 9:20 PM in Kyanja Central Zone. It is with deep regret that we report the unfortunate demise of Tusubilwa Ibrahim, also known as Isma Olaxes, popularly known as Jaja Ichili. The incident took place while Mr. Tusubilwa Ibrahim was traveling in his motor vehicle, registered under number UBK 213 D, with his driver, Mr. Waswa Mathias.
Preliminary reports indicate that an unidentified gunman armed with an SMG opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in the fatal shooting of Tusubilwa Ibrahim, who was seated in the passenger seat at the time of the attack. Our dedicated task teams are currently on the ground, working diligently to gather all available evidence and conduct thorough investigations into this heinous crime.
As a precautionary measure, the area has been cordoned off to ensure the safety of the public and to facilitate the ongoing investigation process. We assure the public that every effort is being made to bring the perpetrators to justice and provide answers to this senseless act of violence.
We understand the concerns and anxieties arising from this incident . We urge residents to remain calm and cooperate with the authorities as we work towards resolving this case swiftly.
