Patience Rwabwogo Museveni, the daughter of President Museveni, has recently opened up about her spiritual journey, revealing that she has been engaged in communication with God since a young age. Pastor Patience, who leads the Covenant Nations Church, shared insights into her faith during an interview on Urban TV.
During the interview, Pastor Patience attributed her ability to hear from God to her unwavering faith and dedication to her religious convictions. Recounting her experiences, she said, "I began hearing from God when I was still young, around 11 years old. It was the first time I experienced a distinct voice that wasn't my own or anyone else's. It wasn't an audible voice, but rather a clear voice that I could perceive." She emphasized that the ability to communicate with God is accessible to all believers and not exclusive to her.
Regarding her role as a pastor, Patience clarified that it was not a path she consciously chose, but rather a calling she accepted.
"I don't believe I chose this path. The path chose me. I felt that God was guiding me towards this direction," she shared.
Patience expressed gratitude for the support and assistance she received from her family, who recognized her deep relationship with God.
In 2006, Patience made the decision to establish a church to expand her evangelistic endeavors. Initially, the church services were held in their family home for three years. However, as the number of attendees grew, they had to relocate to a rented space to accommodate everyone.
Adding to her spiritual journey, last Friday saw the inauguration of Patience's book, "Jesus' Africa," by President Yoweri Museveni. Spanning 461 pages, the book delves into the significance of Africa in God's redemptive plan and addresses the challenges faced by the continent and its people. Within its pages, Patience shares her personal experiences and encounters with God throughout various stages of her life.
The release of "Jesus' Africa" signifies Patience's commitment to spreading her faith and insights to a broader audience. The book's comprehensive exploration of African spirituality and its intersection with Christianity aims to provide inspiration and guidance to readers.
As Pastor Patience continues her spiritual journey and expands her ministry, her openness about her relationship with God and the release of her book demonstrate her dedication to sharing her experiences and faith with others.
