The Retired Archbishop of Church of Uganda, Rt Rev Henry Luke Orombi says he is now feeling alot better after admission to hospital.
In a recording accessed by media, Orombi is heard energetically giving an update about his health and events that followed after being airlifted to Kampala on Monday morning for specialized treatment.
Orombi said that he had no idea of what happened right from Goli Health centre where he was first admitted until he landed to Kololo Airstrip. "I was told the Bishop took charge" he said.
At Kololo he was put into an ambulance and taken to Nakasero Hospital.
"At Nakasero I had no treatment apart from Doctors observing my temperatures and BP on the monitor. They never gave me treatment until mid morning" he said adding that he was denied to have lunch because tests were still being done on him.
He was discharged later on Tuesday evening without any and had all his meals thereafter. He says he was physically well since discharge with no pain except the vomiting that came in a very unusual way about 4:30pm on Wednesday when the nosea came in.
"I started vomiting, my stomach was unsettled. Between Wednesday 7 and 8pm I had lost consciousness and was taken to a health centre and eventually to Kampala" he explains.
He says Doctors are still investigating with all kinds of tests being taken. "At the moment they have not found anything, they were suspecting there was a stroke coming, there still concluding and expecting a conclusion on Friday" he said.
He thanked everyone that made sure he was taken care of from Goli to Kampala.
"I heard how people worked collectively and lovingly. I appreciate you all and may God bless you all. We shall come back home at the right time when we are done in Kampala" he concluded.
Orombi was airlifted from Goli, Nebbi District to Kampala in the wee hours of Monday morning after his health detoriated.
