Jackson Mayanja appointed as new Kyetume Head coach
    • April 5, 2021 • 4 years ago

Former KCCA and Uganda Cranes player Jackson "Mia Mia" Mayanja has today been named as the  new head coach of Kyetume FC and will take charge of the "Slaughters" with immediate effect.

The club has been on winless run of six matches and this got  former head coach Alex Isabirye sacked. Isabirye had been brought in to replace Livingstone Mbabazi. Mayinja is not new to the club, having served it twice, first as a technical director alongside Allan Kabonge and secondly as the manager.

Mayanja's primary target is to save Kyetume FC from waves of relegation that have seen the side stand in the red zone in 14th position with 12 points from 2 wins, 6 draws and 8 losses.

His first game as Kyetume Head coach will be on Tuesday 6th/April/2021 against inform Uganda Premier league team Express FC "mukwano gw'abangi" in the round of 32 first leg in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
