People in Uganda where legendary singer, Dr Jose Chameleone comes from normally lose respect for a musician especially when he has not produced a big song in a long time.

The musician flew off to The Democratic Republic of Congo last week to attend the Amani Festival over the weekend where he was meant to perform. The organisers of the event booked him a 5 star hotel and also provided a police patrol outside the hotel with 2 other armed police men inside the hotel.

    His 2 hotel guards

These people in Congo gave our singer so much respect as though he was an important politician in that he had 4 police men with guns guarding him where he went.

But in Uganda, the case is different , Jose usually hires goons of his own to protect him wherever he chooses to go and they really protect him but not like a politician considering the fact that they have no guns at all.

Chameleone is really a big artiste everywhere in Uganda's neighbouring countries but back home , many don't appreciate him as much as they used to those days. Well because he hasn't released a killer song in a long time and he has been recently involved in petty petty things like depending on tycoon Bryan White for money which again made people see him as broke and faded.
