Some of the quiet news that could pass by is what happened over the weekend at the Kadanke event held at Lugogo Hockey Grounds.
As it has been , every year the organisers of this event set up a show towards the end of January dubbed "Kadanke Grand Finale". Violence has been cropping up in Kadanke over the past few years for those that have been attending it.
The cause of the violence is not usually about people wanting to fight , it's the thugs inside the crowds that snatch valuables especially phones from innocent kids. Another cause of lighter weight is that of those fighting over girls, who should hold who and who should not.
Well if you thought kids attend this Kadanke you got it wrong , one of the MCs last Saturday said that these were hard-core youth where by she witnessed one of them slapping the other which caused him to bleed and up to now she is still wondering what type of hands that guy had.
A viba source that was on stage said that fighting started all the way from the morning hours and that before 2.30pm the show had to be paused for a few seconds to bring some order. Uganda Police Men that were less in numbers swung into action but were beaten up by mature kids in the audience, "it was nasty !" said the source.

During Fik Fameica's performance before 3pm , the crowd was so excited when he was performing Benyenya and the sound system got a black out.
Little did the excited kids know that the thugs within them were operating at maximum. Huge fights erupted and the show had to be paused as Fameica was shown off the stage, it was too much to the extent that the Kadanke 2018 had to be shut down before it's closing time 6pm for everybody to be searched before leaving the premises.

The search helped recover hundreds of items especially phones but not all times were returned to their owners.
