Kyagulanyi resumes campaigns fully dressed in protective gear
    • December 3, 2020 • 4 years ago

After his meeting with EC Chairman Byabakama yesterday, presidential candidate and NUP party leader Robert Kyagulanyi has today morning resumed his campaigns, heading to Palisa, Manafwa and neighbouring areas.

However, he wasn't in his usual suit or kitenge or red attire but Kyagulanyi wore a red overall and a helmet plus bullet proof gear and heavy boots. This comes in after he narrowly escaped being shot at on Monday during his campaigns in Kayunga.

Kyagulanyi during a media interview immediately after the meeting with Byabakama yesterday said he's sure the police and military are targeting his life, given the constant shootings aimed at his vehicle. This now explains his choice of attire today morning.
