Upon assuming a ministerial position, Honourable Nobert Mao promised to act fast on matters of legislators Allan Ssewanyana and Muhammad Ssegirinya so as they attain faster Justice!
Over two months later, nothing much has been done about the matter and close sources to Mao, the minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs reveal he is busy because he met alot of pending work within his docket.
Its this delay in handing this issue that prompted Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who also doubles as the duo's lawyer to query Minister Mao about the matter in addition to reminding him to fulfill his promise.
"It goes that Justice delayed is Justice denied. I would like to extend my message with alot of humility to Hon. Nobert Maoto fullfull your promise, your words should not be political. This is painful and we are seeking Justice." He said!
The two legislators in question have been in jail for over a year now and all they do is be brought to court as they are taken back to prison! With all this in play, will Mao do something or the system doesn't permit him? This is a question to be answered another day!
