Lydia Jazmine says she doesnt care about Rema Namakula's concert.
    • November 28, 2023 • 1 year ago

All hell broke loose when Rema Namakula announced on Thursday, November 16 that she would hold a concert on February 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. It should be recorded that earlier on, Lydia Jazmine came out and announced her concert dates, staging that her concert is  slated for March 1, 2024.

This means that both concerts will be held on Fridays, that is one week apart from each other. The most complicated thing is that  Jazmine's concert will be a maiden concert.

Many netizens came out and criticized Rema Namakula, saying she announced her concert dates after having found out about Lydia Jazmine’s  concert date, making it seem like a challenge to her. There is corridor talk however that Rema Namakula had planned a concert way earlier than Lydia Jazmine.

Many netizens came out and said Jazmine was just trying to prove a point, being that she had already come between musician Eddy Kenzo and Rema Namakula.

While  Speaking to the media however, Jazmine said her concert dates remain the same and she is set to announce the venue. According to Jazmine, it does not faze her . Lydia mentioned that she can not stop anyone from holding a concert just because she has hers coming up.

"There's no problem. So do you want me to stop people from holding shows because I have a show? No way. Let everyone do whatever they want. I don't have any problem with it. The official poster is ready and it will be out in the coming week. It will show the venue. As far as I know, no one has another show on March 1." Said Jazmine.
