Things don’t look good for musician Fik Fameica after fellow creative Fixon Magna came out to mention that he wrote the now famous hit that Fik sung with Sheebah Karungi that is dubbed “Bwe Paba” but he never received his rightful funding despite the fact that the song has been bossing airwaves.
According to Fixon, having had a good vibe in the studio alongside Fameica, he composed the song in question without drafting any formal agreement regarding the payment for his service, something he realizes was a mistake on his end.
According to Fixon, his greatest disappointment was realizing that upon the release of the song, he found himself unacknowledged when it comes to the composition of the song, something he had not expected from Fik Fameica.
He mentioned that despite this harsh exclusion, he remained strong because to him, seeing a song he penned topping the charts serves as a source of inspiration for him to strive even harder.
Since its release, the song has enjoyed massive airplay and recognition across the country and it is unclear how much money it has made since its publication. As the composer, this is why Magna believes he deserves his fair share on the song and he should not be exploited.
