Musician Yasin Mukasa aka Lil Pazo decided to venture into the political field after his over night gained fame. According to his own statement, he was meant to contest for the Rakai parliamentary seat and he was coming on a NUP ticket.
All his efforts however could soon be trashed due to the fact that he has come out and called out National Unity Platform members as well as their leader Bobi Wine hypocrites.
According to Lil Pazo, NUP is full of selfish people who only wish good upon themselves and no one else around them. He accused them of causing rifts amongst musicians basing on their political agendas.
When NUP foot soldiers came out and called Lil Pazo a traitor who feeds on both NUP and NRM, he decided not to sit back and take the criticism. He came out and stated that he is not a two faced snake like they have chosen to call him but rather they are the selfish ones.
According to the musician, NUP foot soldiers are best at sowing seeds of hatred and making musicians turn against each other, killing the kind of Unity that once graced the music industry.
He stated that the members and leader of NUP are the worst hypocrites this earth ever saw because they are never ready to have anyone's back . He further accused them of playing favorites as there are people they are always willing to help more than other people yet they keep expecting loyalty from people they fail to help out.
"You simply want us to lose friends because of Politics. You want us to close our eyes to the people who are always there for us just because we are being loyal to a political party." Lil Pazo stated.
He further went on to state that the same party is now against musician Eddy Kenzo simply because of his straight forwardness yet he can never hate Kenzo since he is one of the key people who introduced him to music.
He also highlighted how Gravity Omutujju is currently being tossed aside because of Politics, something he can not personally do because he has a back story with Gravity that many people have no idea about.
"People like Eddy Kenzo. Why should we hate on Eddy Kenzo when we started being seen in the music industry because of his help? What about Gravity Omutujju? How can we hate on him when we went through so much together? " Pazo stated
