Ntungamo Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Yona Musinguzi has eaarlier today presented to the floor of parliament evidence conering the State Minister for Science and Technology Hon. Dr. Musenero Masanza Monica, in regards to what he had earlier saod about the swindling of Covid funds meant to aid research for Covid-19 medicine.
According to Hon. Musinguzi, Min. Musenero channeled the money to for 'personal' business. The NRM party member went on to say that Dr. Musenero appointed her husband Dr. Michael Masanzaand her cousin to preside as workers on the research project and were also PAID!.
Hon. Musinguzi also called out to the floor that he should be given security as his life is in danger, following the Thursday incident where he noticed a stranger following him after giving his report. Deputy speaker Hon. Anitah Among later asked the Minister of Internal affairs to guarantee the MP's safety.
