    NRM bloggers' Facebook accounts deleted!
    • January 9, 2021 • 4 years ago

As the internet proves to play a pivotal role in our day to day lives, it's proving to do the same thing to the politics as well.

We do remember that almost a month ago, some of the most followed Facebook accounts for National Unity Platform were hacked and deleted. This caused a strong setback to the team but later new ones were created. This act was blamed to the current regime by the Kyagulanyi Ssentamu led political party but these remained allegations.

As the saying of "every dog has its day" goes, yesterday was a day for the NRM bloggers to face the wrath of technology as they woke to the terror of their accounts having been hacked and deleted!

Among the accounts hacked were Ashburg Kato's facebook account, Ismail Olaxes, Bajjo and full figure's facebook accounts respectively.

Ashburg immediately took to his Twitter and rubished the news that their accounts had been hacked and deleted, saying it was a game by NUP supporters who reported their accounts to their American counterparts. On the other hand though, rumor has it that this is a game by the NRM team itself to create public sympathy.

It should be remembered that Facebook suspended outgoing American president Donald Trump's facebook account due to misconduct. Politics is indeed a dirty game.
