Pallaso pens down emotional message to his brother Chameleone
    • January 22, 2021 • 4 years ago

The English saying of "blood is thicker than water" falls perfectly on the arguably most successful music family in Uganda, that's the Mayanja family.

The family boasts of successful musicians including Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso, Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel, Joseph Mayanja alias Dr. Jose Chameleone and the late AK-47.

The brothers have for a long time had their feuds, most entertainment related but as they grew older, the family bonding kicked in. Earlier this year, the trio, Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso closed the #ClubBeatzAtHome in a performance that was so energetic and memorable.

The most successful of them all, Chameleone, decided to try his shot at politics and contested in the recently concluded Kampala Mayoral elections where he came fourth with over 10k votes. His brother Pallaso immediately took to his Facebook and penned down an emotional message.

"Congratulations my brother. We have walked almost every step of the journey together. Thanks to everyone that believed in Joseph Mayanja. I still don't understand how Ugandans will attain change by divisions and disbelief in young leaders. ???? We are stronger together" - Pallaso

I am also proud of myself as well, I have sang songs, I have risked my life and my career and much more but above all I have done my part." Pallaso also prayed for more togetherness in the next phase.

"In the next phase, let's push each other more. Let's be so united that no one can break the bond. That's how you win." We all need a brother like Pallaso in our lives don't we????
