After being arrested by the police on his nomination day, FDC flag barer Patrick Amuriat was left barefooted whenhis shoes went missing. He indeed decided to take on the challenge and went for nomination barefooted. What a guy!
Anyways, few days later, after the internet trolls and memes, Amuriat has come out to declare that he's going to do his campaigns without shoes, since the police decided to keep his shoes. "I have not seen my shoes which were taken by the police and I now declare they are a property of the police." He said.
The campaigns, which are expected to begin anytime from now, will see the presidential candidates go to all parts of the country in search for votes and Amuriat is to do his barefooted.
"I will run a barefoot campaign and it will resonate well with my people." Remember his campaigns are to end in January.
