This year's Two4One competition has been more competitive and serious compared to that of last year. This is probably because the competition was made open to all higher institutions of learning, given last year it was only for MUK students. One would argue that the cash prize of 5m also spiced up the competition.
However, a genre that's normally less considered, poetry, this time round comes up big. With over 5 finalists from the art form that uses words to express and pass on a message, one would say they have an upper hand in winning the competition.
The grand finale is slated to happen this Wednesday, 9th at 3:30pm and will be live on NBS TV and other online platforms. It will be hosted by Obed Derrick, a poet also who recently published his second poetry collection alongside the amazing Sheila Salta.
With over 9m up for winning and other prizes, the 11 finalists will have to bring on their A-game come Wednesday to impress a panel of experienced judges and walk away with the prize. May the best team win.
