With the swearing in of the president elect and members of parliament in high gear, and cabinet reshuffles also around the corner, NRM chairperson H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni seems to be looking to make amends with opposition stronghold NUP.
Earlier today at State House, president Museveni had a meeting with some NUP leaders where they discussed on a number of things, according to his tweet. "Meeting a section of coordinators and members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) at State House Entebbe.
I appreciate their views on the different failures of the NRM and, I assurance is that we shall work together against such." Is the president trying to win opposition hearts? Is he trying to weaken it? Should Kyagulanyi be worried or it's "people power our power?"
