Presidential Advisor on Indigenous Cattle causes storm on Social Media!
    • October 10, 2022 • 3 years ago

Shortly after making 60 years of Independence, Uganda seems to still prove its unique than other states in the world given the hilarious things that keep happening in this "Matooke" sorry  "Cassava" Republic!

On Monday morning, social media was taken by a storm following a leaked letter from statehouse where President Museveni had appointed someone as Senior Presidential Adviser on Indegnous Cattle!

What bothered the public further was the Presidents directive that the adviser in question earns shs. 15 million per month! What the public questions is all this salary for what?

" I appoint Dr. Nassan Tandekwiire as My Senior Presidential Advisor on Indigenous Cattle with personal salary of 15 million " the letter dated July 31st 2022 read in part!

In the same letter, the seemingly excited Museveni was happy to know that the Qataris were to visit his Kisozi farm. He further ordered his daughter Diana Kamuntu to coordinate that particular visit!

The letter thats spreading like wild fire on the social media streets has caused alot of mixed feelings and reactions with many netizens wondering whether an adviser on Indegenous cattle is a top priority in the president's midst more than the very many Rollercoaster problems this nation is having pending solutions!

Other have sarcastically made fun of the matter attaching the move to the growth of Uganda in the past 60 years of Independence. "Having a presidential advisor on Cattle is real justification of Independence! The whites wouldn't let us do this crap in their reign! We are truly independent" a one twitter user posted!

With all this in play, none of the government agencies or person has come out to comment on the matter but we are sure this new week has given us a top taking point, one that the opposition is set to use against government!
