Released about a year and a half ago, Kachumbali didn't get enough airplay until March 2020, during lockdown.
The song which is about a beautiful girl who according to the Artist Quex, doesn't bathe using ordinary water but rather Rwenzori and eats "Kachumbali."
Initially it got its fame after students of Nkozi university came up with dance moves for the song and since the released of the clips, the song has been topping chats since then.
Months back Quex released a video for the song and guess what? He has started ripping. He took to his Twitter earlier today and announced that the song had clocked a million views on YouTube.
"Very frustrating to wait for your turn that never seems to come...alot of fears...alot of betrayal...alot of self doubt...but I remain hopeful...been at this hustle since 2007...and am here to tell you KACHUMBALI made 1m views on YouTube. God was watching all along..." He tweeted.
