Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund has called Christian Eriksen a "class player" as he expects for more game time for his international teammate.
Christian Erisken previously shared his frustrations towards his lack of minutes for the Red Devils, having started nine of Manchester United's twenty-eight matches this campaign and lost his spot in the starting lineup to electrified English youngster Kobbie Mainoo.
The Danish midfielder has not started a match since January this year and has been an unused substitute in six of the club's last seven matches. His most previous performance was seen in their clash with the Reds(Liverpool) when he came off the bench to help his side secure victory in the FA Cup.
Hojlund being Eriksen's teammate for both club and country has praised him 'class player' that the 32-year-old proves to be.
Speaking to TV2, he said: "I myself have sat on the bench for Copenhagen, so I know what that means. But he holds his head high and he is a class player, there is absolutely no doubt about that.
"There is no concern at all for me about it. Of course, you want to play football and I'm sure he does too. He trains well, is still very positive and very helpful, so it's not a big deal. He is a real professional.
"It was good that he got some minutes against Liverpool, I think he did really well when he came on. He is a good player, so you would like to see him on the field, but we have many good players.
"It must be the coach's decision whether he plays or not."
Manchester United will visit Brentford the team Christian Erisken left to join the Red Devils in 2022 at Gtech Community Stadium in West London in their return to Premier League on Saturday,30th March 2024.
