After a while since they worked on a project together, singers Rema Namakula and David Lutalo have once again dropped a song that is giving music enthusiasts sleepless nights.
Titled love commissioner, the song is a love ballad sang in both Luganda and English. Released on Friday, May 3, the song is already receiving a awarm reception because of its groovy beats and ear-catching lyrics. The visuals too are captivating and have so far gannered over 120k views on YouTube.
In the first verse of the song, David Lutalo promises nothing but endless love to Rema Namakula. He actually says that the love of his love (Rema) is more expensive than American dollar.
In the chorus, a seemingly suspicious Rema tasks Lutalo to prove his love for her by making it known to everyone.
From the strong vocals to the exciting dance moves and chemistry showcased in the visuals, the song has indeed attracted music lovers' attention.
With the audio produced by Yaled, the song was crafted to bring out the best of David Lutalo and the powerful vocals of Rema Namakula that really had the fans re-embrace that old touch they missed about her.

It should however noted that this is not the first time Rema and David Lutalo are featuring on a song together. Their first project is dubbed Number yo and it also received a relatively good reception.
About Singer David Lutalo and Rema
Born 8 March 1986, David Lutalo is a Ugandan musician, artist and performer, who rose to fame with his hit Kapapaala in 2008.
According to Lutalo, he started recording music in 2008 and has several solo songs to his name as well as several collaborations with Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, and Goodlyfe Crew, Solid Star.
Lutalo is known by Uganda's music audiences for his distinct, high-toned, sharp voice which has made him a favorite among rural and urban Ugandans. He has been rated in some circles as the unofficial Ugandan musician of the year in 2014.
On the contrary,Rema was born on 24 April 1991 and some of her popular albums are Tikula, Kukaliba, Oli wange, Banyabo, Sili Muyembe, Yo Sweet, Clear.
She started backing singers while in S.6 vacation and some of these are Bebe Cool, whom he was introduced to by Halima Namakula who she also backed.
Halima owned a studio called No End Studios and encouraged her to start using to learn the dynamics of becoming a recording artiste.
She said it took her about four years of backing other artistes before her breakthrough song.
In 2013, the Sili Muyembe singer unceremoniously left Gagamel Crew, which is owned by Cool, for a solo career.
In 2019, Cool said his issues with Rema started when she got a manager from Gagamel and he (Cool) rejected their idea of holding a concert. They didn't like it.
The year she split from Cool's label she dropped her first hit single Oli Wange. Rema continues to release smash hits almost every year.
Away from music, she is also a mother of two beautiful girls and is currently marriedt o Hamza Ssebunya.
