* Russia's military industrial complex increased more than ever before during the full scale invasion of Ukraine.
* Putin prepares to spread doom across Ukraine with more than one million boost in military equipment.
* Ammunition industry supplied over 1500 tanks, 1400 missiles and 22000 UAVs.
The Russian military industrial complex seemed to have manufactured a significant number of essential weapon systems despite the heavy weight of western sanctions. TASS, a Russian state owned news agency reported that the Russian military had experienced a significant boost in its assets which was realised through massive production of over 1500 tanks, 2200 drones according to the Russian Defence Ministry end of year documents. The delivery of over 1500 tanks, 2200 armoured combat vehicles revealed a high level of adequacy ranging upto 84% with additional shipping of 22,000 UAVs. The military also accepted the delivery of more than 12000 automotive vehicles with a segment of about 1400 being armoured.
President Putin in his address to Russia defence production in a meeting of Russia's military industrial commission pronounced a significant increase in the production of military tanks on September 19. He drew comparison to the doubled output production from January to August 2022 compared to the same month in 2023 where production escalated yo about 47%. Reports also include that Moscow could manufacture over two million artillery shells in a year doubling the average production before the full scale invasion of Ukraine. Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy chairperson of the of Russian National Security Council urged Ukraine to prepare themselves as he noted a substantial increase in the production of weapons and unique equipment ranging from tanks and guns to ultra scale missiles and drones. He also advised those who rely on analyses that the Russia would run out of military equipment to hold their breath.
Despite western sanctions that deprived Moscow of the much needed equipment to produce and replace the damaged equipment, Russia has shown resilience against these western sanctions by creating supply chains that evade these restrictions. The Russian search for alternative suppliers has pivoted them towards China, Iran, and North Korea. China since 2022 has been very influential in supplying Russia with products such as semi conductors, drones, and other dual use goods running into millions of dollars worth of trade. A reduction in weapon sales by the Kremlin shows Moscow administration is concentrating on supplying resources for its forces in Ukraine. The change in tide is however much set to affect Ukraine with the country's aid from the west reducing while on the other hand Moscow increases its military capabilities.
