Following her recent act of storming Mango magistrates court and rescuing a widow, Prime Minister Rt. Hon Robinah Nabbanja received a courtsey call by the Chief Justice Alfonso Owiny-Dollo.
According to Dollo, it was wrong, unfortunate, unacceptable and a total outrage for Nabbanja to interfere with judicial work which is protected by the constitution.
"if the purpose of going to court is what took place, I think the Rt Hon Prime Minister should have known that this country had got a chief Justice" Owiny Dollo said before branding Nabbanja's act as misplacement of her zeal!
Nabbanja rescued Nalule, a widow from jail over an outstanding civil debt of shs. 2.8m in damages to Mr Godfrey Bazaale, one of her neighbors.
She claimed that the case contained alot of loopholes that need to be fixed reason she paid the money to have the woman released.
On the contrary though, the Chief Justice said that whatever happened to Nalule shouldn't have been blamed on court because the magistrate in the case did due diligence.
It should be known that although Nabbanja in her position as Prime Minister, she is below Owiny Dollo whose position makes him the 4th in command after the President, Vice President and Speaker of Parliament in the hierarchy of most important people in government.
