Shock and sadness have engulfed the family of singing brothers Jose Chameleone, Pallaso and Weasel following the untimely demise of their elder brother Humphrey Mayanja.
According to exclusive reports, Humphrey succumbed to cancer from Mulago cancer institute.
The sad news regarding the demise of Humphrey Mayanja was first made public by the Leone Island entertainment boss Jose Chameleone, legally identified as Joseph Mayanja via his various social media handles.
The deceased's sickness was first detected in June 2023 upon his arrival in the United States of America from Uganda
As his condition worsened, he was eventually brought back home to Uganda, where he received the loving care of his family and friends during his final days.
Humphrey was even rushed to the hospital with severe stomach pain and underwent major surgery.
While talking to journalists in Kampala earlier this month, his father Gerald Mayanja mentioned that his eldest son was being treated for stage-four colon cancer.
He said they decided to bring him back to Uganda to get treatment near home.
The passing of Humphrey Mayanja has elicited an outpouring of condolences from fans, who have been deeply moved by the loss of the beloved brother of their musical idols.

Vampino was also not left speaking the same language after learning about the death of Jose Chameleone's elder brother. He took to his socials to pay tribute to the dead.

As the family grieves the loss of their cherished member, burial arrangements are underway, with further details expected to be announced in due course.
