    Samson Kasumba quits social media.

Samson Kasumba has quit social media for some days after his tweets angered most Ugandans who became very abusive towards him.

The Next Media team, where Samson works tried to do damage control as his tweet that was a praise tweet dedicated to his co -worker and friend, Canary Mugume was taken out of context.
After failed tweet attempts to clarify himself, he later on got angry and wrote tweets saying he is disappointed in this generation because they are so abusive and cannot make a statement without being vulgar.

In his last tweet, he said he was going to quit social media for a while, as he was advised by "people whose opinions he cares about and listens to" until everyone calms down and the fire goes low.

One social media user asked him if he was ready to read facebook comments and he replied saying he does not really care what they say because  they do not affect him as a person.
