Congratulations are in order for budding media personality Brian Waako and his super star wife Penelope following the arrival of their set of twins.
For starters, Brian and his fiance Penelope embarked on the journey of legalizing their relationship in November 2023 when they held their 'kukyala' ceremony in the latter's parents' home in Western Uganda.
The event served as a commencement of a series of ceremonies that will ultimately lead Brian Waako and Penelope's legalised marriage.
During the just concluded Kukyala ceremony, the Sanyuka Tv presenter had the opportunity to meet Penelope's family and relatives, harnessing his position as her ideal life partner.
Based on the videos that were shared online, the venue was adorned with colourful decorations, reflecting the couple’s vibrant personalities and their desire to celebrate this momentous occasion in a lively manner.
The guest list for the Kukyala ceremony was carefully curated, consisting of close friends, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers who have been a part of Brian and Penelope’s journey as a couple.

The couple, dressed in traditional attire, and the rituals performed during the ceremony were a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity, symbolizing the couple’s respect for their cultural heritage while embracing their own unique love story.
Throughout the day, guests were treated to a feast of delicious Ugandan cuisine, showcasing the rich flavours and culinary traditions of the region.
A few months, the pair is celebrating the arrival of their two beautiful boys.
Brian Waako, the newly salongo in the city took his social media pages to let his fans and followers know about the development.
In his heartfelt post, Brian proudly announced that he is now officially referred to as Ssalongo, a title given to fathers of twins in Ugandan culture, while his wife is recognized as Nalongo, a title bestowed upon mothers of twins.
Wooow!!! Today 22nd April 2024, God has blessed us (me and my beautiful wife) with a pair of twins (Wasswa and Kato). Both twins, mother and father are in good health. It is a double blessing for us. We can’t stop thanking the Almighty. Feel free to call me Ssalongo Brian Waako," he posted.
The Waako family is beaming with joy as they embrace this new chapter in their lives, cherishing the love and happiness that their twins have brought into their home.
