It was early this year when speculations on musician Sheebah Karungi's pregnancy emerged. Netizens were quite excited to hear this news as everyone has been wondering exactly when the mighty Sheebah Karungi will face her fear of men and start her own family. All these rumors emerged because of a video that spread all over the internet.
In this particular video, Sheebah Karungi had a bulging tummy. Netizens commented below the video, saying they were anticipating a baby from her and everyone was dying to see the man that had managed to convince her into starting a family. Well, that seems to have been a false alarm.
In a surprising turn of events, Sheebah Karungi then shared a cryptic video while exposing her tummy and dancing to her newest song dubbed ‘wakikuba'. She had no bulging tummy then, something that sent netizens into confusion.
During an interview with Sanyuka Television, Sheebah Karungi has come out to deny all these rumors openly. She has even gone ahead to mention that she does not plan to have a child any time soon as she is still focusing on her music career as well as her entrepreneurial ventures.
In this same interview, Sheebah also asked critics to let her ovaries breathe and stop meddling in her private life, claiming it doesn't matter to them. She then mentioned that they should be focusing on her music and not her ovaries' reproduction sequence.
"That was just a bloat and nothing else, so where did the pregnancy go? Do you see anything? Stay away from my ovaries because that's my private life. I haven't planned on giving birth anytime soon," she said.
Sheebah Karungi also made a revelation, stating that she is not in a rush to start a family because, at the moment, it's not among her priorities but her music career is her top priority.
Sheebah firmly mentioned that child birth is a choice that is meant to be taken by a woman when she feels ready but not when everyone tells her to go for it. She therefore mentioned that she will only do so at the right time but will not be forced by her critics or even her fans.
"Everyone has a plan to start a family, but some people want to tell you what to do. You can't rush someone to start a family or even marriage because everyone knows their time to do so will come," she said.
