Yester night, Kampala was the busiest it could ever be as every one was fully engrossed in partying while welcoming the new year. One of the most remarkable hangouts yesterday was Lubiri Mengo where the famous Enkuuka celebration as organized by Promoter Abitex.
While revelers enjoyed their money's worth, there was a huge commotion that broke out with the performing artists right back stage as the situation rapidly turned violent. Singer Sheebah Karungi declined to perform after witnessing the violence, something that left revelers rather sad.
When Sheebah abandoned her performance due to the scuffle, there were very many false rumors flying from all corners of the universe with many making speculations ad to why Sheebah did not go through with her performance.
Sheebah was always known as the silent one even when provoked but upon landing on this criticism, she decided to speak up. According to Sheebah, the only reason she did not perform was because of he scuffle back stage and bot any other reason!
"I sat for some hours before stepping on stage at ENKUUKA YO OMWAKA, then boom, the sound went off, and fights started. If you know me well, I don't associate with violence. It's not worth it. So I left. That's my story.” She stated.
Sheebah then mentioned that she will not tolerate any kind of false news spreading about her and the reason as to why she abandoned the performance. She then added that cone 2024, she will no longer keep silent but she will speak up whenever provoked!
“I heard, as usual, wrong information is spreading around, though in 2024, I am controlling the narrative! Period. Starting from today, January 1, 2024, I will be speaking my truth! Shoot me. Happy NEW YEAR." She stated
