The alleged kidnappings targeting NUP members have now taken a new twist and extended to members outside Uganda!
According to reports, three of the National Unity Platform members in Johannesburg, SouthAfrica were kidnapped from their apartment in Gauteng province.
The three members kidnapped include James Kagolo, Fred Binayomba and Rashid Kezimbira.
According to Petero Kansulaheba, the NUP chief Mobilizer in Johannesburg, these three party members are among the many of their colleagues who have been arrested, assaulted and detained under unclear circumstances in a bid they claim aims at hunting down all NUP supporters globally.
A big number of the party supporters being taken by security agencies are being accused of being found in possession of red berets, which the military claims are reserved as military attire.
The development comes at a time when NUP Leader, Robert Kyagulanyi is constantly hitting at government to either produce before court all those it is illegally holding or unconditionally release them.
