9th June was really heated up indeed. Whereas Pallaso put on quite a show and received multitudes, Singer Alien Skin got himself overwhelming numbers on his maiden concert at Freedom City. His performance was eccentric and exceptional and the acts that went on stage with him were also well appreciated.
Promoter Abitex did a really good job with the concert but sources close to the people who organized the show reveal that the fastest rising Ghetto star was only paid 15 Million Shillings for a concert that might have brought in over 100 Million in collections.
Rumor has it that Abitex who was the main composer of the idea that Alien stages a show on the same day as Pallaso convinced the Sitya Danger star into accepting the 15M for his show, which was a very small amount considering the money that came in.
It is alleged that Abitex who has been organizing concerts for more than 30 years acted like swipper from Dora the Explorer and cunningly made it known to Alien that he was too new in the industry and thus organizing his concert in such a short space of time was a risky move as there was no guarantee he would fill up the venue.
Word has it that Alien Skin innocently accepted Abitex’s offer given that he wasn’t even sure of the power he possessed to pull large crowds at that moment.
