Well, it seems like singer Alien Skin is not a joking subject. Since singer Alien Skin is the man of the moment, which is attributed to his hugely successful “sitya danger" concert and recent UK performance for the Purple Party, he seems to see himself in a different light.
Recently, Alien Skin has a different air around him due to his newly earned fame. He has developed a huge ego which has made him come up with a very long list of difficult demands. On his return from London, the Sitya danger singer tragically embarrassed a female field journalist who sought an on-the- spot interview.
Alien however paid her no attention in the least as he kept on walking away from her. Even when she tried to follow him around to try and get a few words out of him, her attempts were all futile.
Alien received a lot of criticism for this action but even when he did, Alien Skin declared that for him to grant any media house an interview, they had to part with sh5m for him to accept. Whereas many found fault with his acts which they called showing off, Douglas Lwanga , the organizer of the Purple party mentioned that Alien Skin deserves all his fame as he has worked hard for it.
On Friday however, in an interview with the Kampala Sun he said he will not go back on his stance. He arrogantly stated that he does not need the media at all and they should always feel free to dump him anytime since his fame does not come from them.
According to him, he wasn’t showing off but he was rather tired and he needed his rest. He even mentioned that he does not regret treating her like that.
” I don’t need the media people. They are free to dump me. What people don’t realize is that I was jet lagged and tired. I just wanted to get home but the journalist kept pestering me. I don’t regret what I did ,” he said.
