The song, featured on Azawi's new album SANKOFA, includes collaboration with Jamaican superstar musician Konshens. Produced by Swangz Avenue's Banger Boy, the music video was directed by Marvin Musoke.
In an appreciation post on X, Azawi expressed gratitude to Konshens for his contribution, making her dreams come true. She said,
Dreams really do come true. This record started with me being a fan of my favorite dancehall artist. Never in a million years could I have imagined it coming true this fast. Thank God, my team, and @TraceEastAfrica made it happen. @konshens, thank you for welcoming me with open arms.
