After a 1-1 draw with hosts Cameroon in Yaounde a few days back, in a match where FUFA was roasted for posting a totally different flag from the known Black, Yellow Red beauty, the Cranes yesterday got their first victory in the pre CHAN tournament.
Goals from Viane Sekajugo and Steven Mukwala saw the cranes emerge victorious against Zambia with a 2-0 win. The cranes are set to play their third game on Thursday with West Africa's Niger.
Congratulations to the boys
What Uganda Cranes' former coach, Milutin Sredojevi? a.k.a Micho had to say
Micho who is now Zambia's coach, before the match began, appreciated Uganda as usual like he has always done and expressed how he has the country's football team at heart.
However into the game, his love for the Cranes had to reduce into order to try and secure a victory for Zambia.
But unfortunately, he was beaten and reacted by saying that the Cranes were just lucky this time round and that the outcome of the match did not reflect Zambia's good performance in the game.
