    • July 3, 2022 • 3 years ago
Its all happines for Ibrahim Sekagya as he comes to meet his dreams after he was  named the Interim Head Coach of New York Red Bulls II for the remainder of the 2022 USL Championship season.

Sekagya had made  eight seasons  as an Assistant Coach with Red Bulls II based in Newyork City and now after attaining so much experience skill and charisma, it was just just abvious for him to fill in as Head Coach for three matches during this period.

Ibrahim retired in 2015 as New York Red Bulls Defender after making 33 solid appearances with the club but let's not be quick to forget that before he had  spent six seasons not just  playing for Red Bull Salzburg but winning three Mega  Austrian Bundesliga titles and an Austrian Cup championship.

Ibrahim's first match as Head Coach of New York Red Bulls II will be against  Louisville City FC on Saturday, July 9, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
