The rugby games happened this weekend at the kyadondo rugby club attracting many fans.
At the end of the games, the man/player of the game was picked and awarded with bottles of Nile beer.
The Nile breweries company went on to post on social media this photo and used a caption that made it seem like playing for beer is an achievement.
This has not gone well with many rugby players who have come out to say they aren't pleased with the way they are gifted.
"It's high time we stop playing for beers." One rugby player tweeted.
These posts have generated so much support from fellow players and fans who believe that the teams are not appreciated enough.
All their training and hard work, all the pain they go through during training and field should be given better accolades.
