Not so long ago, Daily Uganda, real name Loukman Kaweesi initiated a romantic relationship with Queen Leyla and they became one of the recognized celebrity power couples in Uganda.
The two met online through Daily Uganda's Tiktok live streams. After dating for a period of about five months, Leyla came to Uganda in August 2023 and they solidified their relationship as they held officiating ceremonies.
However, their relationship did not last for long as they part ways two months. The news about their breakup was confirmed by Queen Leyla while appearing on a TikTok live stream on Monday, May 20.
In a video clip accessed by the reporter , Queen Leyla highlighted domestic violence as one of the key factors for their breakup.
Leyla revealed that during their marriage, Daily Uganda could deprive her of her daily needs like food among others, and would sometimes ask her for food to fulfill the family’s needs.
She further recounted that Daily Uganda once beat her and she lost their unborn baby an incident she still mourn.
Queen Leyla already had a child before she got into a relationship with Daily UG
Leyla went on to explain that as a single mother, she dumped her baby daddy due to similar violent traits exhibited by Daily Uganda.
Important to recall is that Leyla flew into the country at the beginning of August 2023 and was welcomed by her boyfriend, who was joined at Entebbe International Airport by close friends and family.
In a long embrace, the couple smiled and appeared lost for words.while speaking to the media, Daily Uganda described her girlfriend as the love of his life at the time.
TikTok and other social media platforms buzzed with the heartwarming love story of the two when they physically met.
According to information from exclusive sources, Leyla is an American-born young entrepreneur of Middle Eastern heritage.
On the other hand,Daily UG is one of the most revered Ugandans on TikTok with 2.5 million followers.
His heart-wrenching videos on the platform depict a homeless poor young man striving to make ends meet on the streets of Kampala.
Daily Uganda also tried singing and he is known for his song dubbed Santiago.
