    • December 23, 2022 • 2 years ago

Undoubtedly Kampala's rightful face of the party, Allan Kanyike passed on Thursday evening. Kanyike, famously known in the party streets as Dynamite really lived his life fully with no regret and it is highly believed that at 58, he died satisfied of life and all it brought him.

The big question however is, who is this Dynamite? Allan Kanyike?

Kanyike, a man of many hats - a socialite and a businessman among many other spheres.

He hit the social scene 12 years ago upon returning back from the United  Kingdom where he had spent 15 years and his family still lives to date - he was retired then.

Born in Fort Portal and is a dual citizen of both Uganda and UK. His love for Ugandan Music and musicians was never doubted.

He prided in having retired to enjoy his life, he literally partied 6 days a week with an exception of Monday that he called a break off. In his early party days, he wax a regular at now defunct Zone 7 in Bugolobi before he became a regular at all top nights in the city.

He often prided in influential friends, mostly the Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga who was his former colleague at St Henry's College Kitovu.

His famous dance, dubbed the "Allan Kanyike Dance" was always exhibited in all spaces where he showed up. It was a unique dance where he simultaneously moved his hands in cyclic manner as he pushed his head forward.

Before he left Uganda for the UK, he worked at SWICO insurance company, he also served as LC 1 chairman for Village 9 in Ntinda. He is a father of four and was a businessman.
