If you were a fan out there blaming the relapse of Weasel's music career on the death of partner Mozey Radio, think again. There have been ideas formulated in the heads of fans that Weasel could not produce beautiful music anymore because of the death of Mozey Radio. The question of Weasel's success came up immediately after Radio's death and many were in doubt of his singing power alone.
Indeed as it had been prophesied, Weasel did not make it far into the industry in the absence of his partner which led many to confirm that Mozey Radio was behind the brand name of Goodlyfe.
The former Manager of Goodlyfe Crew, Chagga however came out and dispelled the rumors that Weasel was never good enough without Radio. He blamed the failure on well known socialite Bryan White. Weasel and Bryan White started a friendship that left many puzzled because they always fell out with each other but always found a way back to each other.
Weasel got involved with the Bryan White Foundation and it took up most of his time as he never even got studio time to do recording. The former goodlyfe manager said he had plans to make Weasel a big brand but they were all sabotaged by Bryan White. He said he had hired songwriters to write for Weasel very beautiful songs in the dancehall genre but Weasel was too busy with the foundation activities to even focus on his music career.
"Bryan White came and distanced foundation artists from their managers. It became hard for me to reach Weasel. We had no time for shows or music. It killed our business as goodlyfe. Weasel used to appear for interviews drunk and he would say things under the influence of alcohol." Chagga said.
