Why Olivia Rodrigo handed out free morning after pills to her fans

    in summary
After being heartbroken by the fact that women are being forced to give birth to children, Olivia decided to fight for their freedom in her own way.

Since 1825, Abortion has been banned in Missouri where life begins at conception. Even the victims of rape are not exceptional. They still give birth to the child of the hurtful act. Whether you committed incest and got evidence in your tummy, it shall be born without being tampered with.

People don't seem to agree with such a setting as they find it as a way of denying women freedom.

They made sure to express themselves and The Missouri Right to Reproductive freedom Amendment might appear on the ballot as initiated constitutional amendment on November 5.

The three time Grammy award winner, Olivia Rodrigo is among the people who want to see these people's rights of freedom delivered successfully.

Infact, when Supreme Court justices Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh all declared Roe V. Wade was precedent and settled law while under oath during their confirmation hearings and they overturned it in 2022 with Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, Olivia did not keep quiet.

Immediately, on the day that followed the one of their ruling, Olivia and Lily Allen dedicated their Glastonbury festival performance of her 2009 hit ‘F*ck you' to those justices listed above by name.

“I’m devastated and terrified. So many women and girls are going to die because of this.

I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who've showed us that at the end of the day they don't give a sh*t about freedom. This song goes out to the Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Army Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you!”

As a sign to show that she's fighting for these women's rights, Olivia is donating a portion of all her ticket sale from the Guts World tour to Fund 4 Good, her new global initiative for women, girls and people seeking reproductive health freedom partnering with local chapters of the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Inside Enterprise center in St. Louis, MO on Tuesday night, Olivia offered her fans free morning after pills.

The non profit organisation, MoAF, set up a reproductive health booth in the stadium and it was visited by many of the 21 year old star’s young female fans.

One of them took to X @cowboylikekin where she tweeted a snap of her emergency contraception and thanked the Missouri Abortion Funds for handing it out to her at the 18096 seat arena.
